The last Pop Song's Guide to SXSW 2008 Galaxy, Teil 1: Rock A bis Z

Oh, Mann! Was hab ich da nur angefangen! Die Geister, die ich rief, die werde ich nicht mehr los... Was vor 3 Wochen als netter Einfall anfing, hat mir mittlerweile beinahe mein komplettes Sitz - und Klickfleisch gekostet. Worum gehts? Das SXSW 2008!
Das ist ja bekanntermaßen mittlerweile eine wunderbare Quelle guter aktueller Musik geworden, bei der es regelmäßig richtig gute Indiebands zu entdecken gibt. Das Ganze hat nur einen Hacken: Wer hört sich schon alle (nahezu 500!) teilnehmenden Bands durch und filtert den Country, Screamo, Hiphop und den wasweißichnochfüreinenschrott raus, damit dieser nicht via Kompletttorrent meine ITunes Mediathek besudelt? Ihr ahnt es schon, mir kam da eines Abends so eine blöde Idee. Nicht das ich ansonsten zu wenig zu tun hätte (ganz im Gegenteil) ich fing einfach an, mich durch die MP3's auf der SXSW Seite zu klicken und zu klicken und zu klicken und irgendwann war es dann mit Aufhören einfach zu spät. Viel zu viel gute Musik. Der Weg zurück zu weit, der Weg nach vorne einzige Lösung.
Voila: Hier ist also der überaus subjektive und unmßgebliche Last Pop Song Guide through the SXSW Galaxy (Teil 1: Sparte Rock)! Und der lohnt sich. Hier gibt es als direkten Anklicker die Songs der Bands, die mir beim Sreenen im Großhirn eine Reaktion hervorgerufen haben, der Bands mit dem gewissen etwas Im Track, derer, die schon vorher meine Beachtung fanden und derer, die mir jetzt als wirklich gut neu aufgefallen sind. Eigentlich wären alle einen eigenen Post wert gewesen. Meine absoluten persönlichen Favoriten werde ich nachfolgend noch in Kurzposts ausgiebiger beleuchten und huldigen, denn die gehen sicher hier in der Menge unter. Also, viel Spaß beim Reisen durch die Galaxie und Probieren der Donnergurgler und nicht vergessen: Don't panic!
